Professional equipment for preparing cold drinks
Professional cold drink equipment supports fast, safe and consistent preparation of fresh juices, smoothies, cocktails, milkshakes, frappes and frozen drinks. It is suitable for bars, cafés, restaurants, hotels, pastry shops, kiosks, pool venues, events and catering operations where choosing the correct appliance affects serving speed, drink quality and workflow.
The Table-Line parent category connects three distinct groups: juicers and blenders, milkshake mixers and slush machines. These appliances are not interchangeable because they use different processes and produce different results.
Which appliance does your menu require?
- A citrus juicer extracts juice from lemons, limes, oranges and other suitable citrus fruit.
- A juice extractor separates liquid juice from fruit or vegetables and collects most of the pulp separately.
- A blender uses blades to homogenise ingredients into a smoothie, cocktail, purée or another blended preparation.
- A milkshake mixer uses a vertical spindle to mix, emulsify and aerate liquid or soft ingredients.
- A slush machine chills and continuously stirs a correctly prepared liquid mix until it reaches a fine crystalline texture.
Start with the desired final product rather than relying only on appliance power or capacity. A venue offering several drink styles will often need more than one dedicated appliance because a milkshake mixer does not replace a blender and a juicer cannot prepare slush.
Juicers and blenders for freshly prepared drinks
The juicer and blender range includes manual and electric citrus juicers, juice extractors, professional blenders, sound-enclosure models and replacement jugs. Citrus juicers are designed for citrus fruit, extractors separate juice from pulp, and blenders are used when ingredients should remain together and be homogenised.
When selecting a blender, compare permitted ingredients, jug capacity and working volume, speed control, pulse function, noise level and recommended cycle length. Use ice, frozen fruit or hot liquids only when expressly permitted for the exact model. Check any replacement jug against the appliance's precise product code.
Milkshake, frappe and dairy drink mixers
A milkshake mixer is designed for liquid bases, syrups, powders, suitably softened ice cream and similar ingredients. Its vertical agitator rapidly mixes and aerates the drink, producing a different result from a blender with blades at the bottom of a closed jug.
Before choosing, compare power, speed range or number of settings, jug material and capacity, included agitators and the availability of compatible spare parts. A standard drink mixer is not automatically suitable for crushing ice cubes, nuts or large pieces of hard frozen fruit.
Slush machines and frozen drinks
Slush machines are designed to prepare and dispense frozen drinks. A single-bowl model suits one main flavour and a smaller workstation, while two- and three-bowl versions allow several flavours to be offered simultaneously. Greater total capacity also requires more space, electrical power, load-bearing capacity and cleaning time.
Correct freezing requires a recipe with a suitable sugar or soluble-solids content. Use alcoholic, dairy-based or very thick mixtures only when permitted by the model instructions. A refrigerated beverage dispenser operating above freezing merely chills the drink and is not the same as a true slush machine.
How should capacity and the workstation be planned?
Estimate orders during the busiest hour, serving size, cycle time and the time required to replenish prepared product. A large nominal capacity alone does not guarantee higher practical output. Staff speed, ingredient preparation, spare jugs and the route between preparation, service and washing also matter.
- Check the appliance width, depth and height, including space for opening lids or a sound enclosure.
- Account for the weight of filled containers and the worktop's load capacity.
- Provide a suitable earthed outlet and avoid overloading the electrical circuit.
- Leave the specified ventilation clearance around motorised or refrigerated appliances.
- Plan separate locations for clean, used and allergen-controlled components.
Hygiene, allergens and daily cleaning
Fruit, sugar, milk and syrup residues can quickly accumulate on jugs, blades, agitators, seals and taps. Clean removable components as often as required by the appliance instructions and the venue's hygiene plan. Do not immerse motor units, and only wash components in a dishwasher when this is expressly permitted.
For dairy, plant-based, lactose-free and other allergen-containing recipes, use a documented cleaning process and separate, clearly labelled jugs or attachments where required. A quick rinse alone may not prevent cross-contact. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before disassembly, blade or agitator removal and cleaning.
Choose Table-Line cold drink equipment
Before purchasing, define the menu, ingredients, expected number of servings, acceptable noise level at the point of service, available space and cleaning time. Then compare the processing method, output, container, safety systems, electrical connection and spare-parts availability. This will help you choose equipment that supports the actual workflow and delivers consistent results during peak demand.
