Commercial slush machines for frozen drinks
Commercial slush machines prepare, chill, mix and dispense frozen drinks with an even texture. They are suitable for bars, cafés, restaurants, hotels, dessert shops, kiosks, pools, events and catering operations where attractive presentation and fast service matter.
The Table-Line range includes machines with one, two or three 12-litre bowls. Multiple bowls let you offer several flavours at the same time but require more counter space, electrical power and cleaning time. The category also contains a chilled juice dispenser that cools liquid drinks but does not freeze them into slush.
How does a slush machine work?
The machine chills and continuously stirs a liquid mixture. This prevents it from freezing into one solid block and forms fine ice crystals that can pass through the dispensing tap. Texture depends on the settings, starting temperature, volume, ambient conditions and, most importantly, the correct recipe.
Machines in this range offer frozen-slush and chilled-drink modes. Selected products specify an operating range of approximately −10 to −2 °C in slush mode. This is a machine operating range, not a guaranteed serving temperature or identical preparation time for every recipe.
One, two or three bowls?
- One 12-litre bowl suits one main flavour and counters with limited width.
- Two 12-litre bowls allow two flavours or separate slush and chilled-drink offers.
- Three 12-litre bowls support a wider choice at busy venues but need more workspace.
Do not choose by total nominal capacity alone. Consider peak servings, recovery after refilling, external dimensions, electrical supply, ventilation clearance and the time available for daily cleaning.
Single-bowl 12-litre machines
For one flavour, compare the 12 L, 230 V/380 W slush machine with the 12 L, 230 V/740 W slush machine. Both use a 12-litre bowl but differ in dimensions, power and design. Power alone does not determine freezing speed, so compare the full specification and operating instructions.
Twin-bowl machines for two flavours
The 2 × 12 L, 230 V/710 W slushie machine supports two drinks and switches between chilled-drink and frozen-slush modes. Removable components and quick-release taps simplify routine cleaning.
The 2 × 12 L, 230 V/740 W model has digital control, illuminated lids, day and night modes and a drip tray. Compare width and depth because identical bowl capacity does not mean identical external dimensions.
Triple-bowl machine for a wider selection
The 3 × 12 L, 230 V/1080 W slushie machine can present three flavours simultaneously. Before installation, check counter load capacity and depth, lid clearance and the ventilation space specified in the manual.
A slush machine is not a chilled juice dispenser
A true slush machine cools the mixture below freezing while stirring it as ice crystals develop. A chilled juice dispenser operates above freezing—one product in this category is specified at 0–10 °C—and keeps the drink liquid. Choose a machine with an explicitly stated slush mode when frozen texture is required.
The correct recipe is essential
The mixture needs a suitable concentration of sugar or soluble solids. Too little sugar can cause the product to freeze too hard, block the auger and overload the drive; too much sugar or alcohol can prevent the desired texture from forming. Use concentrates or recipes intended for slush machines and observe the minimum values in the instructions for the specific model.
- Prepare and fully mix the recipe in a separate clean container.
- Do not guess ratios by adding syrup or water directly to a running machine.
- Stay within the permitted minimum and maximum fill levels.
- Use alcoholic, dairy-based or highly viscous drinks only when expressly permitted.
- Remove seeds, fruit pieces and hard particles that could block the tap or damage the auger.
Preparation time depends on operating conditions
Freezing time is affected by the starting temperature and volume, sugar and alcohol content, ambient temperature, condenser airflow and frequent refilling. A correctly mixed and pre-chilled base can reach serving texture faster. Rated power alone cannot provide an exact preparation time.
Installation and ventilation
Place the machine on a level, stable and sufficiently load-bearing surface near a suitable earthed socket. Maintain the clearance required by the manual around ventilation openings. Direct sunlight, nearby cooking equipment or an enclosed niche reduce cooling efficiency and increase compressor load.
When checking counter capacity, add up to approximately 12 kg of beverage for every full 12-litre bowl to the machine's own weight. The electrical circuit must suit the rated input of the selected model.
Routine cleaning supports hygienic service
Disconnect the appliance before disassembly. Empty the mixture and clean the bowl, auger, tap, seals and drip tray according to the manual. Use detergents and sanitisers compatible with food-contact materials, dry all parts and inspect the seals for correct placement and leaks after reassembly.
Never hose down electrical components. Follow an appropriate deep-clean procedure when changing allergens. A night mode does not replace the emptying, chilled storage or cleaning required by the manufacturer and the operator's food-safety plan.
Table-Line can help you select the right machine
Before requesting advice, define the number of flavours, peak servings per hour, recipe type, available space, ambient temperature and electrical supply. This makes it easier to choose between 12, 2 × 12 and 3 × 12-litre machines and avoids confusing a liquid juice cooler with a frozen-drink machine.
