The sizzling bowl offers a fantastic way to add a little excitement and flavour to all types of meals.
Based on the Korean dish Bibimbap, the bowl is heated, sesame oil is added, then cooked rice and fresh ingredients are placed on top, creating a crispy, sizzling bowl full of flavour.
Add different flavours and create a completely different dish; try sweet and sour flavours for Chinese cuisine, Thai green sauce or Madras for an Indian touch.
Alternatively, the bowl is excellent for serving noodle and soup dishes or keeping fajita ingredients warm, as well as deliciously melted fondue cheese.
For hot serving, simply heat the bowl on medium heat or a stove for 5-10 minutes. Ingredients can be added during or after heating depending on the dish being served. Once heated, place the bowl onto the bamboo board and serve.
The bowl can also be cooled in the refrigerator to serve a cold, crispy salad on a hot summer day. Simply place the bowl in the fridge for 30 minutes or more before serving.
