Hard water contains dissolved minerals, including calcium and magnesium compounds.
Calcium and magnesium ions cause limescale buildup, which can damage equipment and tools exposed to water or steam.
Water softening is the process of removing calcium and magnesium compounds responsible for water hardness.
As water passes through the resin column, the resin particles absorb calcium and magnesium ions.
When the ion exchange capacity of the resin decreases, it must be restored through an appropriate regeneration process using a salt solution.
The water softener can be installed wherever the water temperature is below 45 °C and the inlet water pressure does not exceed 2 bar.
Regeneration: use non-iodized salt only.
For drinking water only.
Suitable for softening water used in coffee machines, combi steam ovens, dishwashers, and ice makers.
Its compact size makes it ideal for bars and restaurants.
